Catherine Beaded doll..

Catherine's skirt made using,   clear and mauve # 11 glass seed beads, #8 perle cotton and 1.25 knitting needles..
I love this doll, she is so easy to do and quickly knitted.. The doll it self, was made by a local lady Margie.. Her work is just superb. The detailing in so fine and delicate..all painted by hand..

They are off to new homes this Christmas, and I know the ladies they are going to will cherish them.. Beadknitting is very relaxing, and I have  another 3 already made and waiting for a doll.
Hope your day is a sunny one :))
Thanks for stopping by , I hope you will leave me a message, I love to receive them :))

These are so pretty. I can not imagine the time it takes to make the skirts. You must have the patience of Jobe. How wonderful!
Happy Thanksgiving,
Amy

Lovely and delicate - I'm guessing it would be quite fiddly but meditative to thread all the beads onto the cotton*!*
