Hexagons

At last it is nearly complete, just 3 more rows and it is finished.. The lacy join is so easy to crochet and doesn't take long.. Now that has to be a bonus :))

Very nice! I've always thought about doing a blanket with hexagonal pieces and even found a pattern that included half hexagons for straightening up the edges, but I never got around to it.

Sooooo pretty. I love it and it reminds me of things my grandma used to make. I wish I knew how as I would love to make something like this.

your hexagon has turned out a treat - you sure can hook fast given it was only a week before you had so few motifs ready.
I will have to have a look into the lacy join, i have ahex UFO that deters me as i can't get the joins looking nice.

This looks just like mine, with the exception your is finished. I'm still joining, and then the trim. I started mine 2 years ago. When it came to join I lost the pizzaz. It's cold now and after Christmas, this would be a good WIP to finish up. It's so pretty it is a shame not to finish it. Thanks for the boost and inspiration. I call mine the pesky hexy..joining is bothersome. I knew that when I started.oh bother....
